Airport Tariffs

By providing services INFRAERO is paid by Airport tariffs created by the Law no: 6.009 of the 12.26.1973 and regulated by the decree no: 89.121 of the 12.06.1983, as below:

1) Airport tariff paid by the PASSENGER

Boarding Tariff - It is fixed in relation to the airport category and the flight nature (domestic or international) and is charged before the passenger departs.

To remunerate the services provided and the use of the installations and facilities there are in the passenger terminals in view of departure, arrival, guidance, comfort and safety of the users.

The boarding tariff is charged to the passenger by the airline company who act as an intermediate. It is considered systematic that this is done on the facilitating principle, as recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), accepted by the Airports Council International (ACI) and adopted by most of the countries who are members of these organizations.

The tariff values of domestic and international boarding are defined in the Resolution no: 216 of 1.30.2012, following the established categories for airports, in function of the facilities available for the users.

2) Airport and aerial navigation tariffs paid by the airline company or by the aircraft operator:

Landing tariff - To remunerate the service cost and facilities provided in the landing operation, taxiing and parking the aircraft up to three hours after landing. It is fixed in relation airport category and the flight nature (domestic or international).

Parking tariff - To remunerate service use and facilities available on the apron and the aircraft parking area, after the first three hours have past since the landing, due from the owner or user of the aircraft. The parking Tariff consists of:

a) Apron Parking Tariff – TPM;

b) Parking Area Tariff –TPE.

Communications Use and Aerial Navigation Assistance on Route Tariff – TAN.

To remunerate the services and available facilities for users, to support and make aerial navigation safe, provided by the Aeronautical Command and /or INFRAERO.

It is fixed in relation to the services provided in the flight information regions and the control areas and the flight nature (domestic or international).

Communication Use and Visual and Radio Assistance in the Aerial Traffic Terminal Area Tariff - PAT

It is fixed in relation to the services, the facilities and the assistance while approaching, landing and take off in public airports and of the flight nature (domestic or international).

3) Airport Tariffs paid by the consignee (cargo importer /exporter):

Storage Tariff - Due because of storage, guarding and control of merchandise in the aerial cargo warehouses of the airports; it is charged to the consignee or transporter, in the case of aerial cargo in transit.

Handling Tariff - Due because of the movement or handling of merchandise referred to before; it is charged to the consignee or the transporter, in the case of aerial cargo in transit.

The revenue collection of these Tariffs, Storage and Handling is regulated through the Directive No: 219/GC-5, of 3.27.2001, complemented by others listed in the sequence. This Directive approves criteria to imported, exported cargo and cargo in special situations.

To sum up the revenue collection is made based on the following Tables, devoting the necessary attention to all the articles in the named Directive, once the cargo can be fitted into the special situations:
