The Capacity Building and Training Program is primarily targeted to users and employees at airports and to local residents in the vicinity of the airport site. Its actions and projects are developed by the headquarters of Infraero, by the Regional Superintendencies and the airports themselves.

The proposed activities aim to promote capacity building and training of the company’s employees, the awareness of the airport community, and addition to the participation and information to the general public about the environmental aspects of their region and the role of the airports’ activity in the sustainable development.

The environmental areas of Infraero involve its technical staff in training programs, whose objective is to recycle or train employees to make them able to meet the increasing levels of quality in the activities they perform.

Besides promoting internal courses focused on specific areas at the headquarters, Regional Superintendencies and airports, the company encourages employees to participate in congresses, meetings and seminars.

Employees in the areas directly related to actions potentially impacting the environment receive specific business courses on the subject. In a broader sense, the question of the environment reaches the other employees and the airport community in lectures eventually realized.
